02 / How we hire

Five steps. No tricks.

Two to three weeks end-to-end. We don't run "trick question" interviews and we don't ask for take-homes longer than two hours.

A short form plus a link to something you've shipped or written. Cover letters are read; we promise.

Intro chat

30 minutes with the hiring lead. About you, about us, about whether the work is what you actually want.

DAYS 2–4
— STEP 03

Paid trial task

Real work, scoped to ~4–6 hours, paid at rate. You keep the IP if we don't move forward.

DAYS 5–9
— STEP 04

Team round

Two conversations with future teammates. Half about craft, half about how you want to work.

DAYS 10–13

Offer & references

We make the offer first, then call references. Comp ranges are public. We don't lowball.
